Icode is a hosted Content Management System

There's no need to install, update and maintain software on your own server, or learn any server-side programming. iCode is a hosted 'cloud' service, all you need is a browser (any browser).

Fast - very fast

When you edit a website in iCode the entire website is loaded into the browser. Updates are sent to the server in the background. So if you add a page, reorganise the menus, edit content or whatever, the changes appear instantly and you can get on with the next thing.

This means you can stay 'in the flow' while you do the design or generate content.

Fully WYSIWYG

There's no need to 'preview' to see what your pages will look like. iCode displays your pages exactly as they appear when published while you are editing.

No server-side code

When you create templates in iCode you just write regular HTML, with a few extra tags to allow people to edit content. There's no fiddly PHP or other server-side code to learn.

Publishes 'flat HTML' pages

iCode publishes 'flat HTML' pages. The entire website is ready to go, so there is no latency caused by server bottlenecks or database lookups. This means your websites work faster, which is better for your visitors and improves search ranking.

Invite people to work on your websites

iCode is a collaborative tool. Invite people to work on your websites, or allow them to view work in progress before you publish. As a web designer you can set up new websites then transfer ownership to your client once the job is complete.

Easily create and manage menus

Menu design is up to you. Just create some HTML for the current page and 'other' pages. You have total control over the design but contributors can manage the menus using an intuitive drag and drop interface.

Main menu, sub menu, breadcrumbs and sitemap are fully supported.

Instantly see changes made by others

Multiple contributors can be updating the design or content of a website at the same time. If someone else changes the design or content of the page you're looking at you will see the changes instantly without having to do anything.

It's a great way to get your team 'on the same page' - literally.

Easily add more page templates and group them to make it easier for non-technical contributors.

Up to ten zones with draggable sections

Zones are what gives iCode its flexibility. Each zone allows contributors to add sections of content, and change the order of the sections by simply dragging.

Sections can be customised with your own section templates giving infinite variations while making it super easy for non-technical users.
